HIGH SCHOOL
HIGH SCHOOL
Kukui: Historically, the oil-rich kukui nut was used to provide the light for the lama (torch), symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and clarity. In this spaces, the kukui represents the administration’s commitment to guiding the school community and ensuring that the light of education and enlightenment remains steadfast.
The School Administration establishes the school’s ethos by providing a safe, welcoming, and easily understood entry point for students, staff, parents, and visitors. As the hub of leadership and daily operations, it sets the academic and ethical tone, manages resources, implements policies, and supports effective communication across the school community. Its location at the front of campus is essential for visitor clarity and for strong visual supervision of parking, drop‑off areas, and the primary approach to the main entry. The center should maintain a close relationship with Student Support functions and be well connected to the broader campus to ensure smooth coordination of services and overall school operations.
